I recently attended a ServantSong concert at the Upper Room Christian coffeehouse in Warwick, RI, that I thoroughly enjoyed -- both musically and inspirationally. It was the first time I had heard ServantSong -- and in fact the first time I'd attended any Christian -- music concert. The lead singer, Melissa, has a beautiful voice, and it seems obvious where she got her talent. Her mother, Donna, sang lead on a few songs and sounded great as well. I also enjoyed all the instrumental accompanyment. The whole night was very uplifting. I left feeling energized and more positive about the future.

We were recently blessed to have ServantSong as the music ministers for the Mass which opened our 41st Annual Diocesan Religious Education Workshop Day. ServantSong gifted us with their talent for music and their spirit of prayer. They did an excellent job of providing a bi-lingual (English and Spanish) worship experience. Their time and talent was appreciated by those present as was evidenced by the positive feedback we received from participants. We were pleased to have ServantSong with us and we would recommend them for any diocesan or parish gathering.

What an awesome evening we've had with ServantSong. Foot-stomping, hand-slapping, praise-the-Lord music. The combination of contemporary praise & worship and original music. All to glorify God. Please, tell the brothers and sisters. Spread the word. Dave and his band are blessed, and it's all about Jesus, not about them. It shows in the music and enthusiasm they have in worship.

Originally, we had someone else that was going to come here. They cancelled, and I had an email from Dave. I checked out ServantSong's site, listened to the music, and thought it was very good. When they got in here and played, instead of being very good, it was great! The music is very uplifting, spiritual, and I recommend everyone buy the CD.

This band was a blessing to listen to tonight -- definitely Spirit-led. I suggest that anybody that has a chance to see them, definitely do so. What a blessing it was to listen to them preach the Gospel through their music.

Based on over thirty years of experience in music, including
studying music composition at the world reknowned Berklee College of
Music in Boston, I would make these comments regarding the music of
ServantSong:
In my professional opinion, I like what I hear from this group.
Their music is fundamentally sound in the areas of harmonic structure,
melodic phrasing, and overall form. I base this conclusion upon
analysis of the written music. From am aestheric, live performance
experience, I find the group well-rehearsed, balanced, and energetic
without being over-the-top. Finally, from a Christian perspective,
there is no denying the prayerful content in their music. Their
conviction of faith is very evident and genuine.
For these reasons, I truly approve of ServantSong's message through
music and greatly support their future endeavors.

We recently had the Servant Song Ministry at our church, also known as The Rhode Island House of Prayer. One weekend each month we have a 48-hour praise and worship time with some of the best christain artists from all over the country. When ServantSong's two hour slot began, it was evident that they were going to rock the house for the lord. Their music was vibrant and their teen dance squad showed their love for our lord in a very special way. Their music literally helped to unite both protestants and catholics in attendence to become what the lord wants of us -- to be joyful and all be one in the body of Christ. Praise the Lord!!

Over the years I have had the great opportunity to watch ServantSong grow in their ministry bringing Youth closer to God with music. I am truly grateful for their performances at our monthly prayer meetings (held on the last Tuesday of each month at All Saints Parish), our coffee houses, Praise/Worship Concerts and the "get ready for Steubenville East" activities. Not only do they play the rocking Steubenville music but they also perform several great songs written by Dave Gawron. ServantSong not only helps the youth grow in their faith but many adults have enjoyed their performances. I strongly suggest every Youth Minister consider booking ServantSong for their parish’s youth group to experience God in a different way. I thank God every day for introducing ServantSong to my ministry and I pray God continues to bless them with their great talents bringing all those who hear them closer to Him. Thank you again ServantSong for all you do for All Saints Parish!!!

Hey all, ServantSong rocked at the coffeehouse last night (7/23/04), and we all had a great time dancing and signing (and singing, and singing) along!
Great job, guys!! (Especially Jake, who lost a string on his bass guitar only a few songs in... I never would have known if it wasn't announced!)

And I am really excited about Sanctify! – A Night Praise & Worship at All Saints Catholic Church on Jan. 17th, because last night (Jan. 14th, 2004) I had the great opportunity to sit in on ServantSong's rehearsal in our Parish Hall. Just let me tell you they ROCKED the place!! The night made me feel as if I was at Steubenville East. If this is your first year attending Steubie, this night will be a great taste of Saturday night's adoration. If you have been to Steubie in the past, this night will be a great night to re-energize your self to start the fire... It sparked a fire in me last night -- imagine what it can do for you. If you are not attending Steubie consider this a personal invitation to come spend an evening with Jesus. Also invite everyone you know to come to be in the presence of our Lord! The more people, the more the fire will grow and spread.... I hope to see all of you there...
I encourage Parishes and Youth Groups to book ServantSong. They are truly Spirit filled and have a great gift from God which will help youth to open their hearts which will bring them closer to our Lord.
